A few clear answers.
Practical details about accounts, projects, automation and the current release.
What is Cloudburg?
Cloudburg is a browser workspace for inspecting project files, editing code, comparing revisions and preparing workflow and marketing drafts. We are developing connected email, account identity, file receiving and controlled automation around that project workflow.
Who is it for?
Individual developers, independent professionals, and developer and marketing teams. Start with the browser project tools. Shared cloud projects and team invitations are not available in this release.
Individual or Workspace?
Individual is your personal account. A Workspace is a named company or team space, owned through a personal account. Each person has their own credentials. Workspace membership does not give access to Cloudflare, the website source or the operator’s billing account. Shared storage and invitations are separate capabilities.
What comes with an account?
A username, a reserved username@cloudburg.org address, a public Developer ID and a File Wallet name. Your private contact email is used for verification and recovery. A reserved Cloudburg address does not yet send or receive mail.
Can I send and receive email now?
Hosted customer mailboxes are not active. Account verification and password recovery messages are separate transactional messages. They do not activate a Cloudburg inbox.
What is a File Wallet?
A public file-receiving identifier: rtwo followed by 40 lowercase letters and digits, 44 characters in total. It is not a password, private key or payment wallet. Use Cloud files for explicit private HTTPS uploads. FTP/SFTP receiving is not enabled.
Does Developer ID mean verified identity?
A Developer ID identifies a registered account. It does not verify a person, company, affiliation, device or professional skill. We do not collect a complete hardware inventory through the website.
Are project files uploaded or saved?
Browser project imports and edits stay in memory in the current tab. Use the separate Cloud files tool for explicit account storage. Download them before reload, sign-out or closing the tab. Saved workflow and campaign drafts use this browser’s storage; they do not sync to other devices.
Which files and limits are supported?
Drag files or folders into the project desk. This release accepts up to 100 files, 1 MiB per file and 5 MiB in total. Text files can be edited. ZIP export preserves folder paths. Imported ZIP/RAR archives are not extracted or executed.
How does Git import work?
Choose a public GitHub repository and import selected files from a pinned commit. The browser contacts GitHub directly. Private credentials and push access are not requested. Imports are limited to 20 selected files per batch and the project size limits.
Can Autopilot answer emails automatically?
Cloudburg Autopilot is being prepared for selected-context assistance and reply drafts. OpenAI is not connected in this release. No prompt is submitted and no email is sent by the current Autopilot panel. Live sending will need a separate, visible authorization flow.
Do automations and marketing campaigns run?
You can arrange workflow steps, preview their structure, save local drafts and export campaign text. These actions do not run schedules, move cloud files or send campaigns.
Can other websites use Sign in with Cloudburg?
Verified customers can register up to three public web applications in Developer apps (beta). Use exact HTTPS callbacks, authorization code and S256 PKCE, with a server-side token exchange. Disabled apps count toward the beta limit. The live Cloudburg Connect website can test an app that registers its controlled callback. Identity permission does not grant access to mail, projects, Autopilot or billing. Read the setup guide ↗
What does it cost? Are there adverts?
The storage beta is free with the published limits. Paid plans and checkout are not available yet. In-product promotions advertise Cloudburg itself. No third-party advertising network is integrated.
How do I remove data or get help?
Use Workspace settings to export or clear saved browser drafts. Clearing those drafts does not delete server account records or downloaded files. For account, privacy or abuse requests, contact admin@rtwochain.com and put Cloudburg in the subject.
How do I protect my sign-in?
In the security center, confirm your password and add cloudburg to an authenticator app using the manual setup key. Enter a current six-digit code to activate protection. Keep your ten single-use backup codes private. Enabling, disabling or replacing factors ends all Cloudburg sessions and requires a fresh sign-in.
What can I manage in the security center?
Review and end active Cloudburg sessions, inspect selected account activity, download an account-data snapshot or delete your account. Sensitive actions require your current password and a sign-in within the last ten minutes. Five sensitive password checks are allowed per ten-minute account window. Browser categories describe sessions; they do not verify hardware or people.
What if I lose my authenticator?
Sign in with your password and an unused backup code. A password reset preserves MFA. If you lose the authenticator and every backup code, contact the published support address. Recovery requires a separate ownership review; support cannot promise immediate access or disclose your old setup secret.
Does account export include my project files?
The account snapshot includes your profile, workspace memberships, session summaries, website consents, developer-app configuration and available account activity. It excludes credential material and browser-local files and drafts. Export project work separately in the project tools.
What happens when I delete my account?
Confirm your password and type your Cloudburg address. A sole-owner workspace is deleted only with explicit acknowledgement. Disable active developer apps first. Shared workspace or unmanaged connected-client ownership must be resolved first. Browser drafts, downloads and data held by other websites are separate. Deidentified security history follows the 90-day expiry policy.
Are my project files uploaded automatically?
No. Browser project imports and edits stay in the current tab. Cloud files is a separate account tool: choosing or dropping files creates a selection, and Upload selected files starts the upload. Folder paths are preserved; empty folders are not stored. Sign in on another device to download your stored cloud files.
What are the Cloud files limits?
The free storage beta allows 8 MiB per file, 64 MiB and 200 nondeleted file objects per account. Pending uploads and deletions count toward these limits. There are 10 upload attempts per minute, 200 new file reservations per day and 60 file requests per minute. Existing paths cannot be overwritten; choose a new path or delete the old file first.
What does a pending file operation mean?
Its final storage result is unconfirmed. Reserved capacity remains counted. Use Recheck status for the existing operation. An uncertain upload is not automatically sent again; an explicit retry keeps the same reference. A timeout or absent object check does not prove an earlier upload can never finish. Contact support if it remains unresolved.
Are cloud files scanned or opened automatically?
No. Downloads are file attachments. Cloudburg does not execute code, extract archives, scan for malware or certify files as safe in this release. ZIP and RAR remain opaque files. No file is automatically sent to AI. Files are private to their account owner; workspace sharing, receiving by wallet name and FTP/SFTP are separate capabilities.
What happens when I delete cloud files or my account?
Delete cloud files and resolve pending uploads/deletions before deleting your account. Account deletion is blocked while any cloud object is not confirmed deleted. Confirmed-deletion metadata normally remains for 30 days, then bounded maintenance removes it; account deletion may remove it earlier and cleanup backlogs may take longer. Pending/deleting journals are not purged simply because they are old. Independent downloads, browser drafts and provider backups/logs have separate lifecycles.
